Basically, it is a cylindrical rod made from Monel Alloy which is a high-performance material known for its outstanding strength, corrosion resistance and performance in very extreme environments. These bars are extensively used in various industries, such as marine, aerospace, chemical processing, drilling, and oil and gas. Monel Round Bars mainly consist of nickel (63%), copper (about 28% to 34%), and tiny amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. All these enhance the strength-resistance properties of the alloy, especially in seawater and acidic conditions. These unique properties make Monel especially useful for high-stress, corrosive conditions in such round bars.
