To get technical, Copper C10500 is essentially pure, unalloyed copper, consisting of at least 99.95% copper content, including silver. This high purity gives it outstanding electrical conductivity, rated at 101% IACS. Mechanically, it offers a typical tensile strength of 35-45 ksi and yield strength around 30 ksi. It can be easily hardened through cold working to achieve higher strength levels. The material maintains excellent formability and can be annealed to a soft state, though it work-hardens during fabrication.
