Nestled in the industrial heart of Safat, Kuwait, Nimish Metal has built a strong reputation as a trusted manufacturer and supplier, particularly for its expertise in aluminum solutions. We take pride in producing superior Aluminium 5005 Forgings, precision-engineered components that meet the diverse needs of various industries. Our commitment lies in delivering not just products, but reliable partnerships built on quality and consistent performance, solidifying our position as a go-to source for durable and versatile aluminum forgings.
The Aluminium 5005 alloy we use is known for its excellent characteristics. It’s a non-heat-treatable alloy primarily composed of magnesium, which gives it a great strength-to-weight ratio, good corrosion resistance, and a very appealing, smooth surface finish. These properties make it a highly workable and reliable material, capable of performing well in various challenging environments while maintaining its structural integrity over time.

Aluminum 5005 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, formability, and moderate strength, making it ideal for custom forgings in architectural and marine applications, while providing a smooth, aesthetic finish.
Aluminum 5005 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications. It has moderate strength and good corrosion resistance but lacks the high-temperature stability needed for forging processes.
Aluminum 5005 has good workability, allowing for easy forging. Its moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance make it suitable for shaping, but it requires careful control of temperature to avoid cracking.
Thanks to their excellent properties, our Aluminium 5005 Forgings are incredibly versatile. You’ll often find them in critical components for the marine industry, such as fittings and hardware, where corrosion resistance is key. They’re also widely used in architectural applications, automotive trim, and electrical accessories. Essentially, any application that demands a lightweight yet strong metal with a good surface for finishing will benefit from the unique qualities of a 5005 forging.
